What Is Panther Armor?
Panther Armor is a pet-accessories brand focused largely on protecting furniture and household surfaces from cats and dogs.
Rather than selling hundreds of unrelated pet products, the brand addresses a very specific problem: pet scratching and the damage it can cause around the home.
Its current collection includes furniture protectors, cat-training tapes, sisal scratch mats, door protection, carpet protection and several pet-travel accessories.
That focused product line makes Panther Armor particularly relevant for cat owners searching for terms such as:
cat scratch furniture protector
couch protector for cats
how to stop a cat scratching the couch
cat scratch deterrent
cat training tape
sisal couch scratch protector
door protector for cats and dogs
1. Panther Armor Anti-Scratch Furniture Protectors
One of Panther Armor's core products is its Anti-Scratch Furniture Protector.
These are transparent protective sheets that attach to furniture to create a barrier between your upholstery and your cat's claws.
Current pricing starts at approximately $20.97, depending on pack size.
Panther Armor describes the protectors as single-side sticky, transparent, waterproof and stain resistant. Twist pins are also supplied for additional security.
Where Can You Use Them?
They are designed for areas such as:
Couch arms
Sofa corners
Upholstered chairs
Table legs
Frequently scratched furniture surfaces
One important limitation: Panther Armor does not recommend these protectors for leather, microfiber or velvet. Testing a small hidden area first is sensible with any adhesive furniture product.
Best for: Pet owners who want a physical protective barrier rather than a training product.

2. Panther Armor Deterrent & Training Tape
If your goal is to discourage the scratching behavior rather than simply cover the furniture, Panther Armor also sells double-sided Deterrent & Training Tape.
Current prices start around $22.76.
The concept is straightforward: many cats dislike the feeling of a sticky surface under their paws, so the tape makes a favorite scratching location less appealing.
Panther Armor says its tape is non-toxic and designed to blend into furniture once installed. The company recommends avoiding leather, microfiber and velvet and suggests testing a small area before wider use.
Furniture Protector vs. Training Tape
There is an important difference.
Furniture Protector: creates a physical shield over the furniture.
Training Tape: uses a double-sided sticky surface intended to discourage the cat from scratching that location.
For some households, combining protection with an appropriate scratching post or mat may be more useful than trying to eliminate scratching altogether.

3. Panther Armor Sisal Scratch Mats for Couch
This may be the most interesting Panther Armor product for owners who do not simply want to block their cat from scratching.
The Sisal Scratch Mats for Couch turn part of the sofa into a more appropriate scratching surface.
Current variants start at approximately $23.97, although the exact price depends on the configuration selected.
Options include configurations for the left arm, right arm, backrest and combinations of those areas.
This approach makes sense because scratching is normal feline behavior. Instead of expecting a cat never to scratch, owners can redirect that behavior toward a more suitable surface.
Best for: Cats that repeatedly target sofa arms and owners who prefer redirection rather than deterrence.
4. Anti-Scratch Door Protectors
Furniture is not the only target.
Some cats and dogs scratch doors when they want to enter or leave a room, when they are excited, or as part of an established behavior pattern.
Panther Armor's Anti-Scratch Door Protectors currently start around $19.99.
The protectors can be trimmed to accommodate different door dimensions. Panther Armor recommends caution with fragile painted surfaces and suggests testing a small area first.
This product could be especially useful for renters who want to reduce visible pet damage before it becomes expensive to repair.
5. Scratch-Proof Carpet Protector
Cats sometimes focus their scratching on carpet around doorways.
Panther Armor offers a Scratch-Proof Carpet Protector for Doorways, currently priced around $21.97.
The product measures approximately 1 ft × 3.6 ft and is offered in variants for different flooring situations.
For households where the damage is concentrated around one doorway, this may be more practical than covering an entire room.
How to Stop Cats From Scratching Furniture
Buying a furniture protector can help with the damage, but scratching itself is normal cat behavior.
A more complete strategy can include:
Protect the target area → provide an attractive scratching alternative → reward use of the appropriate scratching surface → remain consistent.
For example, if your cat repeatedly scratches one end of a sofa, you could protect that area while positioning a scratching post or sisal mat nearby.
The objective is not necessarily to stop all scratching. It is to make the right place more appealing and the wrong place less rewarding.
Which Panther Armor Product Should You Choose?
Choose Anti-Scratch Furniture Protectors if your priority is physically protecting the couch.
Choose Deterrent & Training Tape if you want to discourage your cat from returning to a particular surface.
Choose a Sisal Scratch Mat if you would rather redirect the scratching behavior to a cat-friendly material.
Choose Door Protectors if doors are the primary target.
Choose a Carpet Protector if the scratching is concentrated around carpeted doorways.
Some households may benefit from using more than one approach.

What We Like About Panther Armor
The strongest part of Panther Armor is its focus.
The products solve a clearly defined problem instead of trying to be another general pet store. There are also several approaches available: physically protect the surface, discourage scratching in a location, or redirect scratching toward sisal.
Most of the core products are also relatively inexpensive compared with repairing or replacing damaged furniture.
Things to Consider
Adhesive products are not appropriate for every furniture material.
Panther Armor specifically warns against using some of its adhesive protectors and tapes on materials such as leather, microfiber and velvet. Testing a small hidden area first is a good precaution.
Results with deterrent products can also vary between cats. A product that immediately discourages one cat may take longer—or simply not work as well—for another.

Final Thoughts
Panther Armor is worth considering primarily because it gives pet owners several different ways to approach the same frustrating problem.
If your cat is damaging a sofa, you can protect the surface. If you want to discourage a particular scratching location, there is training tape. If you prefer redirection, there are sisal scratching surfaces.
The right option depends on your pet, furniture material and where the scratching happens.
